Meet Our Growers – Drove Farm Orchards
Drove Farm, on the North Norfolk Coast, planted their first apple tree just after World War II. They now grow 150 varieties of English Apple including over 100 East Anglian varieties. They also grow 5 varieties of plum, 10 varieties of pear, as well as currents, gooseberries, walnuts, quinces and gages. These fantastic traditional English fruits are difficult to find growing in the UK let alone on our doorstep, so we are extremely fortunate to have them as a supplier.
Sweet & Crisp
The farm covers 300 acres and is home not to just orchards but a vast wetland area – providing a habitat for a number of species of wild fowl and wading birds.
Cox's Orange Pippin
Drove Farm press and bottle their own juices, capturing natures goodness in a glass. Their quince juice in particular is amazing, and has been awarded Gold** in the Great Taste Awards. We stock a range of their juices so contact us about getting your hands on some and you will not be disappointed!
